According to Mr. Vo Pham Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, during the peak days of the Lunar New Year, from January 20, 2023 to January 24, 2023 (from 29^th day of 12^th month to the third day of the Lunar New Year), Tien Giang province welcomes over 38,000 visitors to participate in spring fun activities, eco-tours, visit famous scenic spots, historical and cultural relics, etc.; including nearly 3,000 international visitors.

Revenue from tourism reached VND30.5 billion, with an increas of 5.5% over the same period. The occupancy rate of tourist accommodation establishments in key areas is about 45%.

As noted, most of the famous attractions and tourist attractions in Tien Giang province such as: Tan Thanh beach resort (Go Cong Dong district), Vinh Trang pagoda (My Tho city), Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen Monastery (Tan Phuoc district), Lien Hoa pagoda (Cho Gao district), etc. are very crowded with visitors.

The situation of security and order, environmental sanitation, fire and explosion prevention and control, etc., during the Tet holiday, is well guaranteed, safe for tourists and local people, and there is no disorder or disturbance in public places.

In addition, in order to serve tourists and local people to celebrate the happy and healthy Lunar New Year 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes a series of cultural, artistic, sport activities etc., focusing on peak days from January 19, 2023 to January 26, 2023 (28th day of 12^th month to the 5th of the Lunar New Year) at Hung Vuong Square (My Tho city) with many highlights such as beautiful photo exhibition "Tien Giang Tourism"; decorative art lights and clusters of miniatures to celebrate the Lunar New Year; Art photo exhibition; Bonsai display; performing arts and fireworks to welcome New Year's Eve;  performance shows of Don Ca Tai Tu, music, street music, water music, magic; The Traditional Martial Arts Championship and the Final of the Singing Contest to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023, etc., which creates a joyful and exciting spring atmosphere.
