According to Mr. Lee Yong Nam, Standing Vice Chairman of the Korea Trade and Industry Association in Central South Vietnam, currently Korean companies in Tien Giang province and neighboring provinces are experiencing labor shortages. Therefore, companies want to learn about the recruitment process and methods of job centers in the province as well as connecting with units to recruit workers, especially common laborers. At the same time, we hope that units, branches and localities will support and create favorable conditions to organize the "Job Day" at Tan Huong Industrial Park in March 2022, etc.
At the meeting, a representative of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that currently, the recruitment demand of enterprises in the province is more than 15,000 workers. Over the past time, the province also regularly organizes "Job Days", maintains stock-exchange, and at the same time recommends companies need to invest in technology in production to reduce workers. The Job Center under the Department will always be ready to support and connect with companies to recruit workers. Every month, the Center organizes face-to-face counseling at job sessions; participate in online job sessions organized by regional provinces; regularly organize counseling and job introduction in localities and schools. Regarding the proposal of the KOCHAM and the companies that need to support the organization of the "Job Day", the Center is ready to coordinate and facilitate local contacts for a successful organization, etc. In the coming time, the Center also plans to coordinate with businesses and localities to advise and introduce jobs for employees.
As for the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Management Board of the Provincial Industrial Parks, Ap Bac Newspaper are also ready to support businesses in communicating recruitment information on newspapers, industry websites and localities, social network, etc.
Leaders of departments and sectors will also share difficulties with businesses in recruiting, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, leaders of departments and sectors also want businesses to continue to pay attention to wages and labor regimes to retain employees, etc.
