According to the Tax Department of Tien Giang province, the 2023 state budget revenue estimate of Tien Giang province implemented by the Tax sector assigned by the Ministry of Finance is VND9,548 billion (domestic revenue); allocated by Provincial People's Council is VND9,888 billion. In order to complete the assigned state budget revenue estimate, right from the beginning of the year, the Tax Department of Tien Giang province has focused on implementing the 2023 Work Program of the Tax Department as well as Directive No. 01/CT-UBND dated January 17, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening state budget collection in 2023.

The result of temporary state budget revenue as of March 31 was VND2,548,770 billion, reaching 95.71% of the quarterly estimate, reaching 25.78% of the ordinance estimate and increasing by 3.30% over the same period last year. Specifically, revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reached 87.33% of the first quarter estimate; revenue from state-owned enterprises reached 78.09% of the first quarter estimate; industrial and commercial non-state-tax accounted for 89.98% of the estimate in the first quarter; personal income tax reached 104.69% of the first quarter estimate; land use fee collection reached 91.78% of the first quarter estimate; environmental protection tax reached 93.99% of the first quarter estimate; registration fee reached 101.76% of the first quarter estimate; collection of fees and charges reached 94.26% of the first quarter estimate; other budget revenues 124.52% of the first quarter estimate; lottery revenue reached 110.66% of the first quarter estimate.

Regarding the revenue results of each region, the province reached 99.19% of the estimate of the ordinance in the first quarter and reached 24.59% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; Cai Be Tax Department achieved 101.52% of the estimate of the first quarter ordinance and 35.10% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; City Tax Department. My Tho reached 80.45% of the estimate of the first quarter ordinance and 27.09% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; Cai Lay Regional Tax Department reached 91.49% of the estimate of the first quarter ordinance and 31.96% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; Chau Thanh - Tan Phuoc Area Tax Department achieved 79.88% of the estimate of the first quarter ordinance and 27.31% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; the Tax Department in Go Cong Tay - Cho Gao area achieved 108.48% of the estimate of the first quarter ordinance and 36.81% of the estimate of the annual ordinance; the Tax Sub-Department of Go Cong township - Go Cong Dong - Tan Phu Dong achieved 85.70% of the first quarter's ordinance estimate and 29.59% of the year's ordinance estimate.
