At the invitation of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation of Tien Giang province led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the BioAsia 2023 from February 24 to February 27, 2023 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

The BioAsia 2023 with the slogan "Advancing for One: Shaping the next generation of humanized healthcare" was attended by delegates who are leading scholars and experts in the medical field from more than 50 countries and territories, leaders of major medical corporations in the world, etc. The BioAsia 2023 focused on discussing topics related to improving the quality of human health care such as remote medical examination, application of science and technology in health care, preventive medicine, state management in the medical field, etc.

Within the framework of the event, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with Mr. Shri. KT Rama Rao, Telangana State Minister of Industry, Trade and Information Technology. The two sides discussed potentials, strengths and issues of mutual concern; visited and worked with the Federation of Trade and Industry and co-chaired the Roundtable conference on trade and investment opportunities in Vietnam. Through the exchange, Indian businesses have expressed interest in learning about the potential, strengths, investment environment, investment attraction policies of Tien Giang province in particular and the Mekong Delta in general, projects calling for investment of the province in the fields of health, information technology; agriculture, processing industry; travel services, people's health care, etc.
