According to the People's Committee of Cai Lay district, the locality is interested in developing industries and handicrafts to attract workers and jobs and create a strong shift in production structure to bring high socio-economic efficiency.

The whole district currently has 42 companies, 15 enterprises, 10 branches of companies and over 240 production and business establishments attracting thousands of employees. In the first quarter of 2023, the locality achieved a production value of industry - handicrafts of VND217 billion, reaching 25.29% of the year plan and increasing by more than 16.86% over the same period last year.

Thanks to the positive solutions to encourage business development as well as facilitate trade with large fruit and raw rice areas, the situation of enterprise development, industrial production - handicrafts in Cai Lay district has many opportunities for strong prosperity.

Leaders of Cai Lay district are interested in receiving information, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles of business households and enterprises, creating an open and friendly investment environment to ensure convenient and effective operations, improving management capacity and competitiveness of enterprises.

Currently, the area of communes located along Provincial Roads 864, 868, District 70 roads such as Long Tien, Long Trung, Tam Binh, Ngu Hiep, Cam Son, My Long, Cai Lay town bypass, etc.  are an area with many businesses, establishments, contributing to the circulation and consumption of key agricultural products for the people.
