My Luong Communal House
My Luong Communal House is located in Luong Nhon hamlet, My Luong commune, Cai Be district, Tien Giang province and is the large-scale architectural relic with the area of approximate 790 m2 consisting of the arena, Vo Quy and Central Chamber. The inside of the Communal House has the decorative plaques on horizontal lacquered beards, parallel sentences, bao lam, pair of dragon columns and the exterior has such decoration topics of the patterns from the legends of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism such as the four supernatural creatures, Buddhism head, Dao, Luu, Le, Eight fairies, wine-bottles, poems and local fruits, etc. which presented for the deep cultural features of the nation.
My Luong Communal House has the important cultural and historical values to Cai Be people in particular and Tien Giang people in general. This place still keeps many rare and valuable relics of XIX Century. This place was the firm revolutionary base of the local people during the wars against the foreign invaders (at the present, the Communal House still keeps 01 altar which was the secret tunnel of the revolutionary soldiers).
