Nation's Hero Truong Dinh Death Anniversary (on lunar August 20^th) is held at the temple in Go Cong town and Gia Thuan in Go Cong Dong district on the date that the General Truong Dinh committed to suicide on August 20^th, 1864. On his death anniversary, the people inside and outside the province gather here to participate in the anniversary. In Go Cong town, there are soul procession and flower offering at Nation's Hero Truong Dinh Statue. This death anniversary is the largest festival of Go Cong people.
