At the meeting, Mr. Le Van Nghia gave brief information on the results of the 11th Party Congress of Tien Giang Province, in the term of 2020 - 2025 and some achievements of Tien Giang province. Currently, the province has 05 projects with investment capital from Japan, with a total registered capital of $56 million. Currently, the province has 223 employees working in Japan.
Representatives of the Department of Health, Department of Planning and Investment also informed some highlights of Tien Giang province in coordination with Japanese organizations and enterprises that have done in the past years in the medical field, fruit processing, especially acerola. At the same time, provincial departments want the Japanese Consul General to facilitate and call on organizations and businesses to continue to invest in Tien Giang province in the field of health and fruit processing, geographical indications for fruits of Tien Giang province, etc.
Mr. Watanabe Nobuhiro thanked the leaders of Tien Giang province for the delegation and congratulated Tien Giang province for successfully organizing the 11th Provincial Party Committee's Congress. He said that this was the first time coming to Tien Giang province, he felt very impressed and sympathetic. Japan would continue to accompany Vietnam in general and Tien Giang province in particular in all fields; keep a good cooperation relationship between the two countries, etc.
